Thrifted python-print shirt, Banana Republic shorts, Steve Madden sandals, Melie Bianco bag
As soon as Sue and I got out of the library, it started pouring out. Which is why we look so static in today’s outfit photos…there were no other places to go other than to stay under the roof. Haha. Anyway, I recently started working in the library on my days when I can work from home. It’s air-conditioned, quiet, spacious and they have DESKS and CHAIRS so what more can I ask for? (Sadly I do not own a desk or a chair in my apartment. I have a reason but it’s quite a long story).
So I’ve been really skeptical about wearing animal-prints, because every time I look at anything animal-print, it reminded me of funky middle-aged women in Osaka. They are quite funky, and young at heart. I know I can never compete with them (NOT a sarcasm). But I gave it a shot on this python shirt since I’m pretty sure the legends of the Osaka ladies (Obachan) are not that common here in the states yet. Turns out, it kind of works on me. Maybe I’m the runner-up for the next generation Osaka Obachan. Who knew?
